Clima is pleased to present youngfreaks, the first solo gallery exhibition of the American painter Kelsey Isaacs (1994, Los Angeles, CA). Isaacs is a painter whose practice highlights the dynamic capabilities of her medium, her methodologies, and her subject matter. Working from photographs of scenes that she herself stages and reworks into a series of compositions, Isaacs constructs a visual language of dimensionality through contemporary material means that translates beyond the conventional lines of trompe l'oeil and abstraction.
